Grandaddy Dodge came up for a quick visit a few weeks back and caught up with Scout. After buying her a whole mess of stuffed animals. Grandaddy needs to come up more often!

Yes, it's that time again. Time to break out the ice skates. You know how it is...this year Piper finally conquered her fear of the ice and had a blast. Yay Piper!

I don't really need to say what hams these guys are do I? Or how being trapped in the house with endless snow and rain can make a kid a little....crazy?

Scout's First Day of School. Sigh!
Her teacher's name is Mrs. Harrington, and she's wonderful. Scout has taken to school like a fish to water, reading voraciously, making tons of friends, and having a ball.

Scout and Mommy went to a pioneer farm where Scout rode horses, jumped in haystacks and hugged a calf, amongst other things. We had a great time, right before school started!
